Ingredients
- 2 large garlic cloves, pressed
- 1 ¾ tsp ground black pepper
- 1 ¼ tsp salt
- 2 lb top sirloin steak , about 1 ½”
- thick
- 1 cup tomatoes , diced
- 1 cup baby arugula
- 1/2 cup red onion , diced
- 1/2 cup feta cheese , crumb led
- 3 TBSP Kalamata olives , pitted,
- chopped
- 1 ½ TBSP olive oil
- 1 jalapeño chili, seeded, finely
- chopped
Directions
- Mix garlic , pepper , and salt in small bowl; rub all over steak.
- Let stand at room temperature for about an hour.
- Spray barbecue grill with nonstick spray. Prepare barbecue (medium -high heat). Grill steak until charred and cooked to desired doneness, about 7 minutes per side for medium -rare.
- Let rest 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, mix together the tomatoes , arugula , onion , feta, olives , oil, and jalapeno . Season to taste with salt and pepper.
- Thinly slice steak across the grain; arrange on plates. Spoon salad over steak and serve .
